Access to clean and reliable water is a fundamental need for rural communities. A control panel system was developed for our client for a resettlement village water treatment plant (WTP) in a recent government-approved renewable energy project in Peninsular Malaysia.
The REMOX integrated solution enables consistent water quality, minimizes operational complexity, and supports sustainable water treatment operation, ensuring that the communities in the resettlement village receive a safe supply of clean water.
Solutions
System is fitted with an OMRON PLC and REMOX monitoring system allowing a centralized automation for instruments, UV system and sequence control for treatment process. Solution includes monitoring of:
- Raw water level where water feed pump will facilitate automatic start/stop of pumps based on tank levels
- Chemical tank level of NaOCl (Sodium Hypochlorite) & PAC (Polyaluminium Chloride) used for dosing system in disinfection and coagulation process
- Pressure before and after filters; and differential pressure across filters for clogging indication
- Filter backwash control that is time-based or differential pressure-based
- Level of backwash water tank and treated water used to store, settle, and reuse for cleaning the filtration systems (backwashing) and storage
- System is fitted with an OMRON PLC and REMOX monitoring system allowing a centralized automation for instruments, UV system and sequence control for treatment process. Solution includes monitoring of:
- 7” touchscreen allows real-time monitoring of process parameters, alarm display and operator settings
