BAMO’s Bamosonic ultrasonic open channel flowmeter is used for continuous monitoring of flow level in open channels (Venturi or weir). With a US beam angle of 6° it is perfectly suited for open channel flow measurement on exponential section channels.
Bamosonic is a high performance ultrasonic transmitter with integrated transducer and electronic processing module. Compact, this transmitter is powered by the loop (4-20 mA; 2-wire) and stands out for its reliability and high accuracy.
Positioned above the surface of the liquid, the Bamosonic provides an output signal proportional to the flow level. The stainless steel support facilitates the positioning of the device over an open channel, particularly convenient for flow measurements in wastewater treatment plants.
