Turbidity is caused by particles in a liquid. This BAMO Turbiswitch CP5 immersion probe is designed for open containers or channels, measures the turbidity of the liquid.
For this purpose, a transmitted light measurement is used, in which the transmitter and receiver are opposite each other. The attenuated light is measured by the Turbiswitch GS5 which accurately detects when the turbidity value set by the user is exceeded. The detectable turbidity ranges goes from 50 to 30,000 FAU.
