BAMO Maximat CX compact overfill detectors are level limit switches that are used to prevent overfilling of containers with water-polluting liquids. When an electrically conductive liquid comes into contact with the detector stem, the integrated electronics respond by interrupting the continuous output signal. This signal can be read out from the system controller as acoustic and optical alarms and, if required, can be used to cause an emergency shutdown of the filling process.
