BAMO Nivapress SGE-25 Hydrostatic level transmitter is convenient for measuring clear liquids, stored in opened tanks and wells. It is recommended for monitoring and control of submersible pumps.
The probe measures the hydrostatic pressure due to the column of liquid. The pressure is measured at the immersion depth of diaphragm, connected to atmosphere through a capillary inside the cable. The sensor is a silicium piezo-resistive element protected by a diaphragm. The electronic card delivers an analogical signal (4-20 mA or 0-10 V) directly proportional to the height of liquid. The anti-surge circuit protects the instrument from damages caused by atmospheric disturbance or high power devices.
