The PT100 temperature sensor has a resistance of 100 ohms at 0°C, the principle of operation is to measure the resistance of a platinum element. The elements exclusively made of ceramic and platinum have excellent stability even at high temperature. They are suitable for use between -70 and +400°C. Standard material for stem and fitting is SS316 stainless steel, with aluminium big head housing. Thermowell and temperature transmitter 4-20mA is available upon request.
