Solutions

  • System is fitted with an OMRON PLC and REMOX monitoring system as the palm oil mill is hours away from a major town in Sabah.
  • Due to the precision of the dose required, the 4-20mA output system used is 14-bit in resolution to ensure that the system control the dose down to the smallest volume possible.
  • The Grundfos dosing pump also comes with built-in totalizer which enables the information to be relayed back to the panel using Modbus without loss of precision.
  • Mass flow signal is relayed to the PLC to allow the system to do a proper proportional dosing based on the plant running capacity.
  • A level sensor is also installed on the biocatalyst tank to allow system to trigger an alarm when the system is running out of catalyst to dose.
