Requirements
End-user required solution for measuring the consistency of flow within pipe repeatedly over a period of time. To check the overall performance of the electromagnetic flow meter at three points; two points at the effluent water pit and one point at the effluent final discharge.

Solutions
- The remote converter is mounted in a panel enclosure distance away. It is connected to the sensor through a signal cable.
- A point of measurement was chosen on each of the pipeline. The point is measured with our test equipment (ultrasonic flow meter).
- The reading of the flow rate or the totalizer is compared. For the case of totalizer, initial and final totalizer are recorded. The differences are measured and compared with our test equipment.
- Difference of reading on the tested flow meters is between -0.76% to 0.21% deviation from the calibrated test equipment.
- Tested flow meters were found to perform satisfactorily for the expected flow range.
